CircleA is a PostScript display font whose characters are intended for use as drop caps. It consists of 26 upper-case letters, each placed inside a circle, and was inspired by the logo of the School of Visual Arts in New York City. CircleA was created in FontStudio.
If you are working in color, you may want to use Illustrator or Freehand to color in the enclosed background areas of the letters—I’d suggest using two colors—as well as the strokes of the letters and circles themselves.

Specifically, you might consider that using CircleA for any work for which you’re being paid would obligate you to purchase the font. Other than that, I trust that you know when you’re really trying it out and when you’re abusing the privilege.
CircleA may be distributed freely as long as all related files, including this document, are included. Users groups and on-line services may charge for distribution but not for this font without applying for a distribution fee (available at a nominal charge).
